  • These tubes are built using 24K, 33Msi, medium modulus fiber from a high quality supplier. Braided carbon tubes are generally around 75% carbon on the 0 deg. axis. 15% 90 deg. (hoop) fiber. 10% +/- 45 fiber. Because of the large tows and general nature of a braid, the OD tends to be a little lumpy and bumpy with some pits and voids. OD tolerance is around +/- .020". It is a very durable, damage tolerant laminate.

Braided carbon tubes are generally around 75% carbon on the 0 deg. axis. 15% 90 deg. (hoop) fiber. 10% +/- 45 fiber. Square tubes have a tendency to "ovalize" on the OD of the tube with the flats becoming a little rounded and the wall thickness pinching in the corners. This effect increases with wall thickness.

  • Depending on size, these tubes are built using 24k or 48K, 33Msi, medium modulus fiber from a high quality supplier. Braided carbon tubes are generally around 75% carbon on the 0 deg. axis. 15% 90 deg. (hoop) fiber. 10% +/- 45 fiber. Rectangle tubes have a tendancy to "ovalize" on the OD of the tube with the flats becoming a little rounded and the wall thicnkess pinching in the corners. This effect increases with wall thickness.
